The frozen FWD event

Well our last event, the Katemcy Kickoff, was just about the most perfect weather you could ask for in the month of February. But as luck would have it, our second event of the year -- the Forth Worth Dallas Four Wheel Drive (FWD-FWD) club event -- turned out to be the coldest weekend of the entire winter. We're talking sub-freezing temperatures in the 20ºs. Definately could use a heater in the Jeep on freezing cold days like that. Just look at how Russ and JoJo are bundled up in layers trying to stay warm. Brrr!

Course then there's Jay Albright. Even in 20º weather, he's still wearing his infamous pepper pants. Hope he was wearing several pairs of long johns under those, or else he's gonna be frozen solid for the next six months.

Katemcy Kickoff a huge success

Our "Katemcy Kickoff" opening weekend event (Feb. 4th-5th) was a huge success. We had a record turnout at the rocks: over 160 rigs in attendance! It probably helped that we had beautiful weather, especially considering it's February, plus everybody was just itchin to get out and wheel again after the holidays.

Thanks to all y'all who came out to Katemcy Rocks. Hope you enoyed it!
