COTTON BALES
| DIFFICULTY: EASY TO MEDIUM |
| |
 |
| |
This area can be reached by several different ways. The main entrance would be the first left after leaving main camp; this path enables you to view the Cotton Bales up close. The alternate entrance would be after climbing The Wall and continuing up the granite dome. After entering the area you will find all levels and types of obstacles.
Obstacles are optional and can be as easy or hard as you want them. Terrain is moderately to severely creviced. The surrounding area consists of a play area for all levels.
The area located in front of the Cotton Bales offers a variety of crevices, cracks and hills to crawl on and off until you get tired of it. This is an excellent place to perform stress tests for your vehicle and evaluate your flex. If anyone refers to "Three O'Clock Rock", it is at the top. The reason for the name comes from the summer of 2002 after the park opened. While leading the many rigs in and around the property, Randy and his group(s) would always manage to reach this area around three o'clock in the afternoon, everytime. Everytime! So, hence the name of this granite structure.
